Privacy policy
Your files stay yours.
This policy covers AudioInfo Viewer for macOS and its official website, developed by Mingyang Fan. The app reads audio properties locally; visiting the website is a separate online activity.
Effective date
App data and tracking
AudioInfo Viewer does not send us your audio, filenames, metadata or usage activity. It has no accounts, ads, tracking or analytics SDKs. Its audio parsing libraries run locally.
Files and access permissions
You grant access by selecting, dropping or opening files. The app reads file information, technical properties and embedded tags, artwork, lyrics and chapters where available. It uses read-only access and does not edit or save changes to the original files.
Session data and removal
The app does not persist the file list or inspection results across launches. Removing an item or clearing the list removes it from the current session, without deleting its original file. This is not a guarantee of immediate or secure erasure of system memory or caches.
Copying and the system clipboard
Copying puts selected text or all properties on the macOS clipboard. That text may include file paths, filenames and embedded metadata. The app does not automatically clear the clipboard on exit. Clipboard tools or Universal Clipboard may process or sync it according to your system settings; check it before sharing.
This website and Cloudflare
This website adds no analytics, advertising, remote fonts, forms, cookies or browser preference storage. Cloudflare hosts and delivers it and may process IP addresses, request headers and connection information for delivery and security. These website requests are separate from the app’s local audio reading.

Emailing verneauorane104@gmail.com provides us with your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to reply and handle your request, retaining them only as needed for support or applicable legal obligations. Avoid sending private audio unnecessarily. You may request deletion through the same address; we cannot remotely access or delete files on your device.

Files in iCloud Drive or other cloud-managed folders may be downloaded or synced by their provider. macOS, App Store, email services and clipboard tools have their own data practices and policies. Their processing is separate from AudioInfo Viewer; the app itself does not upload audio.
Children’s privacy
AudioInfo Viewer is a general-purpose utility, not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If a child sends personal information through support, contact verneauorane104@gmail.com so we can address it and delete it where appropriate.
Updates and contact
Policy changes will be published here with a new effective date. Material changes to data practices will be explained in the updated policy. Contact Mingyang Fan at verneauorane104@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests. All language versions describe the same data practices.
